Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with some appearances in Malayalam. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 because of her performance as actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child performer in the early 2000s and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on films that weren't Malayalam in the year 2015. She also signed up to be a part of numerous Tamil films at the same time. The first film she acted in came in A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. The actress had to pull out of several films she had been working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. For a short period of time, she worked with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been planned in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. In 2015, the film was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on the 17th of January, 2017.
