Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a kid she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. When she turned fifteen, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly worked as a fashion model, and was featured on the Seventeen cover. She also provided back vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine. Her first gig was as a lead vocalist with the New York-based funk band Material and it was the quality of her vocal work together that brought the attention of the major record labels, including Arista who signed her in 1983 and where she was for the rest the duration of her career. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut record for an artist in the year. From the album, she released several hit singles such as Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Do You Know You Give Good Love And The More Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US number one hits consecutively. It was even better than the Beatles. The album came out in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies across the globe. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the top-selling performers in history. Even though the movie and actor's performance weren't much praised, her soundtrack album featuring her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top album and single for a number of months. It sold more than 44 million copies worldwide. In the same year she had her daughter Bobbi Brown, she got married to Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Her daily drug usage was well documented.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as both an anchorwoman, reporter, and political correspondent. In the past, she has produced shows for the network such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Coming to her honours and awards Bash was once placed in Women in Washington Power List in Elle magazine. Her incredible anchoring and reporting capabilities are well-respected by numerous journalists. The George Washington University grad is an incredibly loving mother of her single child. She has had two marriages. She's currently unmarried. Bash has a love for her followers to the core.
