Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was acknowledged for her contribution to American television. She is renowned for her stellar performances in the American television show Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy is also famous for her stellar performances on RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. The other films she has appeared in are Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Her acting career started in 1988 when she and her sister played twin Callgirls on Dead Ringers. She had a brief stint in Broadway for the Broadway musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990, and then entered the realm of sci-fi in 1993 playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. In the same year, she was appointed the assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. In this role, she captivated audiences for a period of three seasons until the year the year 1996. Parker has appeared on television and film series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys at the Side The West Wing Angels, for which Parker received the Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker was also awarded an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role in the role of Proof on Broadway.
